During his years in vocational ministry, Lynn served pastorates in Eros, LA, Junction City, KY, Morgan City, LA, Minden, LA, Benton, LA, and Monroe, LA, where he served two years as the District Superintendent of the Monroe District before serving as Senior Pastor of First Methodist Monroe.
Pastor Lynn is an ordained elder in The Evangelical Methodist Church. He is also the founding director of the Clergy Care Network, an emerging ministry to clergy and their families designed to be a place to care for those who care. In addition, Lynn and Vanessa are founding pastors of The House Church Movement–a movement whose purpose is to form an association of house churches across the United States.
Lynn and his wife, Vanessa, have four children and five grandchildren. In his free time, Lynn enjoys reading, writing, playing golf (he didn’t say he was good at it), traveling (anywhere there’s a beach), dining out, and (please don’t tell anyone) shopping.
